We painted these on a rainy afternoon and the 6-inch size was perfect for little hands to hold steady. Only downside is the paint pots are small, so we ran low on green halfway through the roof. Still, it's hanging in the yard now and looks adorable.

My 4-year-old needed almost no help with this since the house comes already put together, which was a relief. The six-inch size is just right for little hands to paint without getting frustrated. Only wish it came with more than the basic colors, but we mixed our own and it turned out cute.
