I grabbed this for our homeschool geography unit and the adobe house from Mexico was the first thing my daughter built. The little details on the bhunga from India surprised me for a kit at this price. We've now got a whole shelf village going.

My kids spent a whole rainy afternoon building the adobe house and the Icelandic turf house, and they actually remembered which country each one came from. The pieces fit together without me hovering, which is rare for a kit like this. The bhunga was trickier but my 8-year-old figured it out.
