My niece now asks for this one every night and I've learned more about mabati roofs than I ever expected. The kati kati game section got us both giggling, and the mandazi illustrations made her beg to make some.

The illustrations of the mabati roofs are gorgeous and my son loves spotting the different colors on each page. I do wish there was a pronunciation guide for the Swahili words like mandazi, since I'm definitely butchering them at bedtime.
