The Fire Station Architecture Kit is a hands-on cardboard building and imaginative play kit for young designers ages 3+. Perfect for small kids with big imaginations, this open-ended architecture set invites children to build it, color it, decorate it, populate it, and play with it.
The cardboard pieces are sturdy enough that our fire station has survived three weeks of daily play, which honestly surprised me. My kid loves sliding the little connectors together to build the tower himself. Great rainy-day kit for a 3-year-old with a big imagination.
My 4-year-old has been obsessed with this since it arrived — she builds the fire station, then immediately starts driving her little trucks through the arched doorways. The connectors hold up surprisingly well to being rebuilt about ten times a day.
My 4-year-old needed a bit of help slotting the cardboard tabs at first, but once the fire station was up she played with it for an hour straight. The connectors hold up better than I expected for cardboard, though a couple of the smaller pieces already look a little bent.
