The bird and fruit charms are what sold my daughter on this set, and the 3 meters of elastic thread meant we made bracelets for her whole class without running out. She's six and threaded them all herself, which kept her busy for a solid rainy afternoon.
My 7-year-old spent two straight hours threading beads, which never happens. The three meters of elastic thread is plenty for several bracelets, and the clasps actually hold up to daily wear.
The 12 little bird and fruit charms are the first thing my niece grabbed, and she immediately started planning a bracelet for her mom. With 3 meters of elastic thread there's plenty left over for several projects, so it's not a one-afternoon thing.
