Fill this soft, felt basket with six of your favourite vegetables. Pop the peas from their pod, peel the cabbage leaves and cut the carrot and eggplant in half!. Comes with a knife with a chunky, wooden handle for babies` fingers to grasp and hold.
The felt veggies are soft enough that my son chews on the carrot without me worrying, and he's finally learning to "cut" things with the little wooden knife. Watching him peel the cabbage leaves apart keeps him busy way longer than I expected.
My daughter spends ages popping the peas out of their pod and slicing the carrot in half with the little wooden knife. The felt holds up way better than I expected after a few weeks of daily play, and everything tucks back in the basket when we're done.
The felt veggies are soft enough that my one-year-old can "cut" the carrot and eggplant without any worry, and she loves pulling the peas out of the pod. The chunky wooden knife is easy for little hands to grip, though I do wish the basket came with a lid to keep everything together.
